A Letter from the President
Welcome to our web page. We're pleased that you would spend time learning more about who we are and what we can offer you. We are a diversified material supply company and have products that are used on all types of construction projects; large and small. Our facilities are primarily located in Washington and Oregon and our divisions include ready mixed concrete, aggregates, building materials, and concrete pumping services. Our cement and Everdure Caltite divisions market their products throughout the country.

Our motto and commitment to you is, "Expect More...We Deliver". Our reputation has been built on exceeding your expectations. For more than 100 years, we have worked hard to earn your business. Everyday we are looking for ways to improve and consequently we've been recognized for being an innovator on many fronts.

Vision Statement
We the people who are Glacier Northwest have a vision of our company to be recognized as the BEST building materials supplier in the country. In our vision, it is not enough to be seen as good…or better, but BEST.

From the imaginations of our people, many ideas have come on how to attain the vision of being the BEST. These ideas have become commitments ones which are flexible enough to be improved throughout the journey, yet strong enough to survive the challenge of becoming the BEST.

The people who are Glacier Northwest have now begun to speak of our vision and our commitment to that vision…voices which are heard from the President through all levels of the Company. These voices talk of the vision…the commitment…of people working together to become the BEST.

Environmental Policy
This policy establishes Glacier Northwest, Inc.’s standards for environmental responsibility. These standards are incorporated into operating and business decisions. It is our responsibility as a company and as individuals that make up the company to uphold the six standards expressed in this policy. Glacier Northwest’s standards are:

To operate and manage the company’s facilities and business in compliance with applicable environmental laws. Every employee is accountable for upholding this standard.
To resolve promptly any conditions that are not in compliance with applicable environmental laws, including when necessary, curtailing operations.
To train and educate employees to enable them to carry out their environmental responsibilities and participate in the environmental management process.
To implement best management practices to the extent feasible to reduce the impact of Glacier’s operations on the environment, minimize the waste we produce, and reuse and recycle materials.
To consider the environmental aspects of the company’s business in all operating and long-term planning processes.
To maintain a self-monitoring program to evaluate compliance with environmental regulations and the standards of this policy. The results of the self-evaluation will be presented to the Board of Directors.
